Beautiful Sparkly Tulle and Lace Sleeveless Ball Gown Wedding Dress
I immediately fell in love with this ethereal, floral, and whimsical dress. It was the first dress I tried on, but no dress came close to comparison. I’m ready for another bride to feel as beautiful as I did in this gown!
It’s an A-line style with a not too plunging sweetheart neckline with mesh straps. It shimmers with glittery tulle, floral lace appliqué, and delicately placed pearls and opals. The buttons on the back are pearls as well. This gown also has a train that paired beautifully with my cathedral-length veil. Absolutely stunning.
Alterations
To make this dress fit perfectly, it had very minor alterations done:
• Bodice let out 2 inches
• Straps shortened 1/4”
• Cups added
• Length was shortened for my height
• Invisible snaps were added along the bottom of the train to keep all the layers together.
• An American-style bustle was added in two layers (since the dress it’s quite heavy). 3 loops on the bottom layers connect to one button and 5 loops on the top layers connect to 5 buttons. - The train always looked nice and neat thanks to this addition :).
•Zipper, buttons, and clasp were reinforced.
Condition
•There is a 1/4” tear in the mesh about 1” to the left of the buttons. It was completely unnoticeable on my wedding day but is an easy fix that can be repaired by any reputable seamstress for less than $50.
•Since the zipper was reinforced, my seamstress failed to fully attach the designer label back into the dress so it’s only connected on one side. Not sure if anyone cares about this, but just being fully transparent!
•Since the dress has not been professionally cleaned since the wedding 2 months ago (February 2022), it’s slightly dirty on the bottom edge of the bottom layer of the gown.
